Mark Massingill
Mark Massingill started working side-by-side with Ernest Rawlins in 1984 after
finishing a degree in photography from Chowan College in North Carolina. He has
since earned an Associate Fellows Degree from the South Carolina Professional
Photographers of America. Mark lives in Greenville with his wife, Laura, and
their new son, Dixon. Having a young child himself, he now is more able and
experienced in the distinctive requirements of children's photography. By
furthering the education of himself and his employees, Mark is always trying to
stay on top of all the new technology and ideas in the photography world.

Russell Lowery
Russell Lowery has now joined the crew at Ernest Rawlins Photography! He offers
a unique style of wedding photography as well as portraiture of all types.
Russell, a past firefighter for the city of Greenville, opened his own studio
seventeen years ago. He has been married for 24 years and has two children ages
17 and 20, which were a big reason for him leaving firefighting and opening his
own studio. Now, after twenty years have past he and Mark Massingill have joined
up again. Prior to opening his own studio he worked as a two man team with Mark
and he was trained by some of the finest photographers around; Ernest Rawlins,
Van Moore, and even his own father Leland Lowery who got him started with
photography at the ripe age of five years old, giving him over 35 years of
experience in the field.
